The regular meeting of the Mayor and City Council of the City of Henderson, Nebraska was held at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at the City Hall in Henderson, Nebraska.

Notice of this meeting was posted at the City Hall and Henderson Post Office and published in the November 9, 2006 Henderson News.

Mayor Lucas Epp called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Roll call showed the following present: Mayor Lucas Epp. Council members: Deb Friesen, Matt Friesen and Scott Erb. Absent: Jim Mestl. Also present was the city clerk, chief of police and city employees.

Minutes from the November 14, 2006 meeting were presented. Scott Erb made a motion to approve the minutes as presented. Deb Friesen seconded. Roll vote: Ayes - Deb Friesen, Matt Friesen and Scott Erb. Absent: Jim Mestl. Motion carried.

Claims were presented. Deb Friesen made a motion to approve the claims as presented. Scott Erb seconded. Roll vote: Ayes - Deb Friesen, Matt Friesen and Scott Erb. Absent: Jim Mestl. Motion carried.

Three building permits were submitted.

Dale Epp was present at the public forum to discuss the claim of his cattle drinking the lagoon water in 2005. After discussion, the council decided to submit to the insurance company. No formal action taken.

Kevin Prior was present to discuss progress of the wells. The plans are 85% complete and are working on current landowners. No formal action taken.

Scott Erb made a motion to get bids from York Equipment and York Farm Supply for a 72" snow blade for the Bobcat and to accept the better price of the two. Matt Friesen seconded. Clerk to send letter to Main Street businesses to inform them of the trial basis snow removal plan for Main Street.

Deb Friesen made a motion to pay the Chamber the budget amount of $10,000. Scott Erb seconded. Roll vote: Ayes - Deb Friesen, Matt Friesen and Scott Erb. Absent: Jim Mestl. Motion carried.

Matt Friesen made a motion to adjourn. Scott Erb seconded. Roll vote: Ayes - Deb Friesen, Matt Friesen and Scott Erb. Absent: Jim Mestl. Motion carried.
