A special meeting of the Mayor and City Council of the City of Henderson, Nebraska was held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, July 14, 2006 at the City Hall in Henderson, Nebraska.
Notice of this meeting was posted at the City Hall and Henderson Post Office and Cornerstone Bank. The purpose of the meeting was to hold a public hearing for James Mestl for a variance request to erect an addition to the north side of his house 23 ½ feet from the property line instead of the municipal code of 30 feet.
Mayor Lucas Epp called the meeting to order at 12:00 p.m. Roll call showed the following present: Mayor Lucas Epp. Council members: Deb Friesen, Scott Erb, Jim Mestl and Matt Friesen. Also present was the city clerk.
Mayor Lucas Epp opened the public hearing at 12:00 p.m. for James Mestl’s variance request. As no public was present, Mayor Lucas Epp closed the public hearing at 12:15 p.m.
Matt Friesen made a motion to accept Jim Mestl’s variance request to erect an addition to the north side of his house 23 ½ feet from the property line instead of the municipal code of 30 feet. Scott Erb seconded. Roll vote: Ayes - Deb Friesen, Matt Friesen, and Scott Erb. Abstain - Jim Mestl. Motion carried.
Matt Friesen made a motion to adjourn. Deb Friesen seconded. Roll vote: Ayes - all. Motion carried.
