An emergency meeting of the Mayor and City Council of the City of Henderson, Nebraska was held at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at the intersection of Cedar Street and Main Street in Henderson, Nebraska. Notice of this meeting was posted at the City Hall, Post Office and Mainstay Communications.

                Roll call showed the following present: Mayor Jim Mestl.  Council members: Mike Wall, Corbin Tessman and Lee Thiessen. Absent - Jeb Mierau.  Also present was Rob Mierau and Kevin Carter from Ayars and Ayars.

                The purpose of the emergency meeting was to decide to remove or not remove driveway and sidewalk along the Tri County Building as this was not part of the original scope of work.  The owner of the building expressed concern on condition of the existing driveway and wanted council to consider including it in the scope of the project. The construction crew was setting up forms to pour concrete the next morning and needed direction on how to set up accordingly.

                After discussion, Corbin Tessman made a motion to form along the driveway concrete to get a straight edge and to decide how much of the driveway to remove at the next council meeting.  Lee Thiessen seconded.  Roll vote: Ayes - Corbin Tessman, Lee Thiessen and Mike Wall. Absent - Jeb Mierau.  Motion carried.

                Corbin Tessman made a motion to adjourn.  Mike Wall seconded.  Roll vote: Ayes - Corbin Tessman, Mike Wall and Lee Thiessen.  Absent - Jeb Mierau.  Motion carried.
