A special meeting of the Mayor and City Council of the City of Henderson, Nebraska was held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 22, 2004 at the City Hall in Henderson, Nebraska.


Notice of this meeting was posted at the City Hall, U.S. Post Office and the Henderson State Bank.


Mayor Curt Friesen called the meeting to order at 12:30 p.m. Roll call showed the following present: Mayor Curt Friesen and Councilmen: Al Cruickshank, Mark Kroeker, Matt Friesen and Scott Erb. Also present was the city clerk.


After the clerk reported that there was only one site available for testing now, Matt Friesen made a motion to table the testing for wells until after harvest in order to get two sites drilled. Scott Erb seconded. Roll votes: Ayes - all. Carried.


Al Cruickshank reported he will be resigning as council member effective June 1, 2004. No formal action taken.


After touring the old Henderson State Bank, Scott Erb made a motion to have Rob Mierau finish the drawings for bidding purposes and the main bid is to include front sign, new windows and doors, tuck pointing as needed and cleaning. Alternate #1 is to add police office, Alternate #2 to re-brick the front. Canopy prices to be itemized out. Matt Friesen seconded. Roll votes: Ayes - all. Carried.


Matt Friesen made a motion to adjourn. Mark Kroeker seconded. Roll votes: Ayes - all. Carried.
